Combining a deep dive into the client’s health history with blood work and functional lab testing, we create a personalized program that treats the body as a whole and focuses heavily on the following:

  1. Digestion: The foundation of a strong and healthy metabolism is the ability to break down food. When digestion is impaired due to low stomach acid, this impairs nutrient absorption that lead to malnourishment over time. Impaired digestion begins a cascade of problems that include gut dysbiosis, liver impairment and increased toxin burden and hormone imbalances.

  2. Optimizing Minerals: Minerals are the “spark plugs” of the body, providing catalyst reactions that effect every aspect of metabolic health and hormone expression. Through Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), we are able to get a comprehensive look in how the body is responding to stress on a cellular level. Mineral levels determine digestion, gut, and adrenal health, as well as your metabolic rate, thyroid hormone use, hormone balance, and liver health and detox processes.

  3. Nervous System Regulation: In our busy, modern world, the ability to reduce stress is an elusive goal. We have stepped away from how our nervous system is intended to thrive by not being mindful of how our daily habits affect the body on a cellular level. By using circadian biology, we can work to support proper hormone signaling. This, in turn, reduces systemic inflammation, supports weight loss and management, and reduces symptoms related to chronic illness.

  4. Medication Support: While our goal is to support the body through circadian biology, nourishment and lifestyle modifications, sometimes additional medical support is needed. Our team of functional nutritionists refer chronic inflammatory conditions to our medical provider partner whenever additional medication is needed for thyroid, blood sugar, or weight loss support.
